Christmas in the Top End

“When you buy from a small business,

an actual person does a little happy dance.”

Christmas is here and as a community, it is a wonderful time to rally around local businesses who may be doing it tough. Australia is built on the back of small business, so let’s do our part and support those who work within our local community this Christmas. It’s not hard to see that some small (and big) businesses in the Darwin CBD are doing it tough. We have recently seen the closure of two national chain stores and the Darwin cinema following a slowing of the retail sector over the past 12-18 months.
So, we have made Christmas buying easy for you and have collated some of the best, local gifts you can buy your loved ones this Christmas!

Some Great Local Gift Ideas

The Gift of Giving

The joy of Christmas comes when we share the gift of giving with others. And not just those in our immediate families – bt to those strangers we may pass in the street. Those who may be doing it tough. There are plenty of ways you can donate your time to those in need across Darwin over Christmas (and beyond). (List supplied by: Off the Leash)
