So we have taken the liberty of trying out all the cafes,  across the Top End to bring you the best of the best Darwin has to offer!

Open: Saturday and Sunday mornings from 8am for coffee and pastries.
Known for: Fantastic coffee and the best Almond Croissants in the Territory!

The Trader

60 Winnellie Road, Darwin.
Same owner as The Trader Bar
Open: Weekdays only

Johnn Johnns

Shop 4, 14 Knuckey Street, Darwin.
Known for: Best gelato in the Top End!
The Taro & Coconut gelato is one of our favourites as well as their thick shakes.
We haven’t tried their coffee yet – as it is so hard to go past the gelato and thick shakes!

Very busy on weekends – expect to wait for your meal/coffee, however worth the wait.

Located in an industrial unit  in Coconut Grove.
Known for: Its simple decor and a relaxed atmosphere. Great for a quick  coffee or lunch on en-route to the Northern Suburbs.

About 100metres from our office so this one is a favourite! Considered a Darwin Institution as it has been around for years.
Known for: Great coffee and our favourite papaya & lime lassi
